NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil baseball dropped three, nine-inning contests to Division 1 Harford in April.
4/7 Game One - Harford 26, Cecil 7
Cecil surrendured 26 runs on 18 hits. Harford blew the game open with a nine-run fourth and five-run fifth.
Kaden Kemp doubled twice and stole one bag. Jevin Seifert homered and doubled. Matt Jackson homered and recorded two RBI.
Mike Preske (2-2) was pinned with the loss.
4/9 Game Two - Harford 13, Cecil 5
Harford scored three runs in the opening fame, but Cecil's Jevin Seifert fired a three-run blast to right to tie the contest.
The Fightings Owls neutralized the Seahawks from their, outscoring them 10-2 over the final eight innings.
Matt Jackson singled and walked three times, while Chris Woods had a base knock and walked twice. Andrew Baldini doubled for his lone hit.
Five different arms saw time on the mound for Cecil. Wyatt McDowell (2-2) took the loss. Mason Burlingame struck out four batters over a scoreless final 1.1 innings.
4/22 Game Three - Harford 14, Cecil 2
The Seahawks traveled to Harford for the third contest, falling by 12 runs.
Cody Kunca had two hits and a stolen base. Jose Romero and Ethan Neff drove in one run each. Mason Richter doubled and walked.
Austin Farrow (0-1) suffered the loss from the bump.
