NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil baseball dropped all three of its contests with CCBC-Essex Knights.
4/3 Game One - CCBC-Essex 17, Cecil 5
The Seahawks allowed the Knights to score in every inning but the seventh. Wyatt McDowell (2-1) took the loss from the hill.
Christian Kleckner produced three hits and Braydon Janzer finished with two. Jevin Seifert doubled for his lone knock.
4/3 Game Two - CCBC-Essex 10, Cecil 8
The Seahawks led 6-1 after three and 8-4 after five, but surrendured a half-dozen runs in the final two frames to drop game two.
Chris Woods finished with two hits and three RBI to lead the offense. Matt Jackson and Mason Richter chipped in two RBI.
Ty Whittaker (3-2) was handed the loss in relief.
4/13 Game Three - CCBC-Essex 9, Cecil 0
Cecil was blanked on the road, recording five hits. The Knights scored all nine of its runs in the first four innings.
Cody Kunca landed two of Cecil's five hits. Luis Romero Walked twice.
Five Seahawks saw time on the bump for the Seahawks. Ryan Flasinski (0-2) was stuck with the defeat. Chris Woods and Mike Preske combined for four scoreless innings of relief.
