WEST WINDSOR, N.J. - Cecil baseball suffered a pair of losses at the hands of the Mercer County Vikings on Tuesday afternoon.
Cecil dips to 4-2 after today's results.
Game 1 - Mercer County 11, Cecil 1
Mercer County drove home a half-dozen runs in the bottom of the six, leading to a mercy rule victory over the Seahawks in the opener.
Jevin Seifert and Ethan Neff contributed Cecil's two hits. Seifert drove home Andrew Baldini in the top of the sixth for the Seahawks lone run.
Trent Wolfe (0-1) was stuck with the loss. Seven different Cecil pitchers saw time on the mound.
Game 2 - Mercer County 10, Cecil 5
The Vikings scored 10 runs on as many hits, scoring in all but the fourth inning to take down Cecil for the sweep.
Kaden Kemp led the Seahawks with four RBI thanks to a pair of home runs. Ethan Neff collected one hit and one RBI.
Kyle Hyre (1-1) took the loss from the hill.
