Mason Burlingame Commits to University of Maryland

NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil College baseball's Mason Burlingame has committed to NCAA Division 1 University of Maryland for next season.

Maryland is a member of the Big Ten Conference and holds a 25-29 this season. The Terrapins have had 115 players drafted to Major League Baseball, including 13 over their last five years. 

Burlingame appeared in 13 games for the Seahawks, including seven starts. The Warminster, Pennsylvania native led Cecil with 47 strikeouts and a 15.48 K/9. He finished 2-2 with a 4.94 ERA over 27 1/3 innings.
