Cecil College Baseball Announces 2026 Schedule
NORTH EAST, Md. - The Cecil College baseball team has released its schedule for the 2026 season.
The Seahawks are set to compete 29 times at home this year, including 12 doubleheaders and five single, nine-inning game. Cecil opens the season with a home-and-home versus Mercer County (Feb. 14-15), then travels to Hagerstown (Feb. 20) before welcome SUNY Westchester (Feb. 21-22).
Rounding out the opening month is a single game with Delaware Tech (Feb. 25) and a Region 20 doubleheader at Montgomery (Feb. 28)
No Place Like Home
Cecil competes on its home field for nine of its 12 game days in the month of March. This includes an 11-game homestand to start the month, beginning with Prince George's (March 3) and CCBC-Essex (March 4). Region 20 opponents Allegheny County, Westmoreland, and Anne Arundel will also make the trek before non-region Corning rounds out the homestand on March 15.
After trips to Division 1 Potomac State (March 18) and CCBC-Catonsville (March 21), the Seahawks return home for three of their last four dates in March. A home-and home with CCBC-Dundalk sandwiches a doubleheader with Southern Maryland (March 26) during this stretch.
April and May Away
Unlike the previous month, the Seahawks will travel nine times during the final two months of the season, with just four home dates in comparison. Cecil hosts Delaware Tech on April 1, following by Harford for a single nine-inning game on April 7. Potomac State (April 18) and CCBC-Catonsville (April 23) both make return trips to Cecil as well.
The Seahawks head to nine different Region 20 opponents within a 30-day span, including defending R20 champion Frederick (April 12) and runner-up Anne Arundel (April 8). Cecil finishes the regular season with a Western Maryland back-to-back against Allegany and Garrett (May 1-2).
