Freshman Infielder, Byler, Named All-Region 20 Honorable Mention
Dylan Byler, a freshman infielder and pitcher, was the lone Seahawk to earn NJCAA All-Region 20 recognition for his outstanding performance in the region for the 2021-2022 season. Predominantly playing second base for the Seahawks and batting second in the line-up, Byler was named to the Honorable Mention squad for NJCAA Region 20 Division II baseball.

Predominantly playing second base for the Seahawks and batting second in the line-up, Byler was named to the Honorable Mention squad for NJCAA Region 20 Division II baseball.
During the 2021-2022 season, Dylan Byler played in 28 games for Seahawks and led the team with a .387 batting average. Despite missing approximately 20 games due to injury, he was fifth on the team with 29 hits - ten of them going for extra bases, including two home runs. He also recorded 17 RBI's, crossed the plate himself 20 times, and struck out only five times. In arguably his best offensive performane of the year, Byler went 7-for-9 with four doubles, scored four runs, and tallied 4 RBI's in a double-header vs. Sullivan County Community College on March 5.
On the defensive end, Byler tallied 43 put outs and 46 assists at second base and successfully turned 14 double-plays. With nine innings pitched, Byler (2-1) had the lowest ERA on the team of 2.0 runs and struck out 15 batters. Byler pitched 11 of these strikeouts, while also going 1-for-3 at the plate, over the course of six innings in a 5-4 win over Anne Arundel Community College on April 3.
