NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil volleyball grabbed a quarterfinal victory over No. 2 College of Southern Maryland (CSM), sweeping the Hawks in straight sets for the second time this season.
The Seahawks move to 15-7 on the season.
Turning Point
Cecil was able to fend off set point in the second thanks to a kill from Etta Harris. A CSM attacking error followed by another kill from Harris landed the Seahawks a 2-0 lead.
Notable Numbers
- Harris and Kendra Watters combined for 31 of Cecil's 42 kills
- Watters also led the Seahawks with 17 digs
- Hannah Beck collected 36 assists
