MCHENRY, Md. - Cecil volleyball was defeated by a pair of Region 20 opponents in Montgomery and Garrett on Saturday afternoon.
The Seahawks drop to 4-4 (3-4 R20) after the losses.
Montgomery 3, Cecil 0
- Etta Harris led the Seahawks with eight kills
- Hannah Beck grabbed 18 assists and five digs
- Montgomery doubled up Cecil's points in the first and second sets
- The Seahawks kept it close in set three, ultimately falling 25-20
Garrett 3, Cecil 1
- Etta Harris collected 16 kills and four blocks
- Kendra Watters earned 10 digs and eight kills
- After losing by five in the first two sets, Cecil grabbed set three
- The Seahawks fell 25-16 in the fourth set to end their day
