Cecil Volleyball Grabs Two Spots on All-Region 20 Teams
NORTH EAST - Cecil College volleyball's Etta Harris and Rachel Mullins were selected to the All-Region 20 Division 2 team, as announced by region officials this week.
Etta Harris | First Team
Harris finished as the Region 20 leader with 302 kills this season. That number also broke Cecil's single-season record and plants her fourth all-time. The North East, Maryland native was one of four Seahawks to play in all 23 matches and averaged 11.46 kills per match. Harris scored at least 10 kills in 16 matches, including a career high 24 in a 3-2 victory over Anne Arundel back on Sept. 17.
Rachel Mullins | Honorable Mention
Mullins made history of her own this year, breaking Cecil's single-season record and leading the region with 654 assists. The sophomore setter is the only player to make an appearance for the Seahawks in every set during their 2024 campaign. Mullins averaged 8.19 assists per set finished with at least 10 assists in all 23 matches. The North East High School grad paired with Harris to record a career best 44 assists in the aformentioned win over Anne Arundel.
