Cecil College Women's Basketball Announces 2025-26 Schedule
NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil College women's basketball has announced its complete schedule ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The Seahawks begin the year at home on Nov. 5 against Delaware Tech. Cecil heads to the road for the remainder of the month, including its Region 20 Division 2 opener at Anne Arundel on Nov. 22.
December brings a back-to-back up in Western Pennsylvania with Westmoreland County (Dec. 6) and Beaver County (Dec. 7). The Seahawks finally return home for a four-game stretch that begins with R20 champion CCBC-Essex on Dec. 10. Division 1 programs Baltimore City (Dec. 12) and Harford (Dec. 16) make the trip to North East before Salem (Dec. 20) wraps up Cecil's 2025 slate.
The Seahawks return from winter break on Jan. 10 with a road trip to Middlesex, then head for a return match at Delaware Tech on Jan. 14. Cecil remains home for four of its final five January contests, headlined by CCBC-Catonsville (Jan. 17), D1 Allegany (Jan. 24), and R20 tournament runner-up Prince George's (Jan. 31). The Seahawks head to Howard on Jan. 21 for its lone away matchup during this stretch.
Cecil travels to Frederick (Feb. 4) to begin February, then returns home for a back-to-back with Southern Maryland and Garrett Feb. 7-8. Perhaps the Seahawks toughest opponent of the season, D1 Monroe University, rolls into town on Feb. 11. Cecil wraps up the final month of the regular season with home games against Lackawanna (Feb. 21) and Montgomery (Feb. 25). Sandwiched around this are trips to Hagerstown on Feb. 14, Potomac State on Feb. 18, and the regular season finale on Feb. 28 at Patrick Henry College.
The Region 20 Division 2 Women's Basketball Tournaments will be held at Chesapeake on March 6-7. The winner will receive an automatic bid to the NJCAA D2 National Women's Basketball Championship.
