    Support Cecil College Athletics by participating in or sponsoring our annual Golf Tournament, title-sponsored by Barnes & Noble. This year's tournament will be held at Back Creek Golf Course in Middletown, De. on Friday, June 7, 2019. Shot gun start is scheduled for 8:00 a.m.

  • Cecil College Athletics Celebrates Inaugural Hall of Fame Inductees

    Cecil College held its inaugural Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday, March 30, with seven of the institution’s icons recognized. The Class of 2019 included pioneers who all had a hand in the creation, development, and growth of the Cecil athletic programs. The members of the inaugural class are Charles “Dick” Brockell (posthumously), William Lewit, Mary Maloney, Mary Etta Reedy, Dr. Thomas Topping, Shirley Weaver, and Thomas Wilhide.

Members of the public and campus community are asked to join Cecil College Athletics in celebrating these individuals.
  • Wear Orange for Hunger Awareness on Jan. 30

    Join Cecil College Athletics by wearing orange during the day and in the stands on Wednesday, January 30 to represent and raise awareness for hunger issues on our campus and in our community. Admission is free to the home basketball matches with a non-perishable food item or monetary donation to the Student Food Pantry at one of our ticket selling tables.
  • Conference and Region Release Fall Awards

    Seven Cecil College fall student-athletes were named to 2018-2019 Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference All-Conference or NJCAA Region XX All-Region teams for the outstanding performance in their respective sport. Sarah Blevins, Emily Ritchie, Emily Waldridge, and Morgan Mock were recognized from volleyball along with Henry Medrano and Megan O'Neal from men's and women's soccer.

    The Cecil College Athletics Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for its inaugural 2019 class inductees. The deadline for submissions is Friday, Dec. 21, at 4 p.m. The purpose of the Cecil College Athletics Hall of Fame is to honor individuals who, through participation, support or interest, have made outstanding contributions to or brought recognition to the athletic programs at Cecil College.

  • Soccer Squads Break Down Against Cougars

    Cecil College men's and women's soccer were defeated by margins of at least seven goals by Maryland JUCO and Region XX rivals, the Cougars of Frederick Community College. Both Seahawks' soccer programs fall to occupy the last spot in conference standings thus far in the season.
  • Soccer Picks Up First Win in 2-OT Thriller
    September 18, 2018
    Men's soccer picked up their first win of the season on the road at Allegany College of Maryland in a double-over time thriller on Tuesday. The Seahawks improve to 1-3 overall and will return on action against Howard Community College on Friday, September 21.
  • Men's Soccer Starts with Three Straight Losses
    September 11, 2018
    Although much improved from the previous year, Cecil College men's soccer started their fall 2018 season with three straight losses after suffering in a 1-0 battle to the Hawks of College of Southern Maryland. The Seahawks tallied the most shots and most shots on goal so far this season in the loss to the Hawks.
  • Men's Soccer Drops First Two Contests
    August 25, 2018
    Although much improved from the 2017 season, Cecil College men's soccer started their season with two losses to non-conference opponents County College of Morris and Manor College. The Seahawks were the first on the scoreboard in their inaugural contest but could not hold one in back-to-back losses.
