Dragons Defeat Cecil

COLUMBIA, Md. - Cecil men's basketball took on the defending Region 20 Division 2 champion Howard, falling to the Dragons on the road 73-58.

The Seahawks dip to 11-8 (3-2 R20) with the loss.

Turning Point

A layup from Xavier Richards-Powell cut Howard's lead down to three early in the second half. The Dragons would miss three straight layups on the next possesion, but rebounded each attempt before flushing the fourth after a Cecil foul.

The Seahawks whiffed on a layup in their next possession, with Howard coming back down the floor and draining a three for a nine point lead.
