Seahawks Finish 0-2 in Cecil Mixer

NORTH EAST, Md. - Cecil men's basketball welcomed Howard, Morris, and Raritan Valley as a part of its annual Cecil Mixer. The Seahawks fought hard but fell to the latter two programs on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

The Seahawks are now 2-4 on the year.

Morris 79, Cecil 76

The Titans squeaked by Cecil on day one, with the Morris starters scoring 53 of its 79 points to take the win. The visitors did most of their damange in the paint with 52 points coming inside the arc. The Seahawks committed 23 turnovers leading to 24 points for Morris, while Cecil scored only 13 points on Morris' 20 miscues.

Jeremiah Falko topped the Seahawks with 24 points, six assists, and four steals. Marcus Edmond Jr. chipped in 17 off the pine. Joshua Louis led Cecil with eight rebounds and three blocked shots.

Raritan Valley 88, Cecil 64

Raritan Valley outscored Cecil by 20 in the second half, pulling away from the Seahawks for visitors second win of the Mixer. The Lions shot 61% from the field and 57% from three during the last 20 minutes of the game.

Marcus Edmond led Cecil wtih 23 points and four steals. Carlito McBryde and Joshua Louis both ended with double-doubles. Louis collected 11 of each, while McBryde finished with 12 and 10.
