Cecil College guard Jacob Falko has been recognized as the NJCAA Division II men's basketball Player of the Week for the week of November 11 through November 17, 2019.
In three contests throughout the week, Falko tallied a total of 103 points while averaging 34.3 points per game and shooting 67.9% from the floor, 58.3% from beyond the arc, and 85.7% from the free throw line. Falko's 43 points in the Seahawks' loss to Harcum College marks his new career-high in scoring.
Falko currently ranks as the Seahawks' leading scorer with 26.4 points per game through eight games and has helped his team to a current record of 4-4. Falko being named the NJCAA Player of the Week marks the first time a Cecil College student-athlete has received this honor in the last 10 years.
