Student-Athlete Spotlight: Patrick Kelly

Learn more about rising-sophomore soccer player Patrick Kelly in the latest Student-Athlete Spotlight. Pat, a native of Bel Air, Md. and graduate of Fallston High School in 2017, finished his first season as a Seahawk this past fall semester. Pat was one of seven members of the men's soccer team to tally a goal in their 2-14 2017 season.

What are you studying at Cecil College?

I am currently studying Business Administration, Marketing, and Accounting.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

I love the Math Building because its always quiet.

What is your favorite inspirational quote and who said it?

Who is your favorite professional athlete & why?

Ronaldinho, because he did things with a soccer ball that brought people to their feet and he did it with a smile on his face. Prilo is another one of my favorites for how easy he made soccer look and for making me fall in love with soccer, but there are too many to name.

What is your favorite meal to eat?

Sushi.

What is your favorite sports-related memory?

Getting to play in the Fallston Cup one last time with my old team, because they are like my family.

What is one thing on your bucket list?

To see Manchester United pay at Old Trafford in England.

What is one word that describes you & why?

Fun, because everyone always says I have a smile on my face whenever they see me!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I see myself working in a successful business setting, coaching soccer, and hopefully playing still.
